David Lindley has worked as a librarian, bookseller, consultant and copywriter. He is Director of the community interest company Designing Libraries, an international resource for library design, architecture and service transformation.
Publications
David Lindley has published a number of books of poetry as well as a book of aphorisms and short essays, and a more extensive philosophical work, The Freedom to Be Tragic. His most recent books are a new verse translation of the Bhagavad Gita, The Song of Myself, and a translation of the Tao Te Ching
His main preoccupation is the self and its illusions, the theme of much of his poetry, philosophical writing and translation.
